The education Minister of Malta visits Mektory centre
The education Minister of Malta Mr. Evarist Bartolo visited Tallinn on 29.04.
The minister, together with the Estonian ambassador in Malta T.E. Prof. Charles L. Mifsud were introduced to the Tallinn University of Technology and its business and innovation centre Mektory.
The fantastic tour guide of Mektory, Rasmus Reino and the TUT Vice-Rector for Innovation and Internationalisation Mrs Tea Varrak, hosted a tour to our honored guests, introducing them to the concept and opportunities of Mektory centre. Once in our startup area, they made a longer break, where the Minister showed high interest in what our startups are doing, but also to understand better what they thought of Mektory.
During the visit, it was stated unanimously that the idea of Mektory is unique and a very positive phenomenon. They found it an excellent example of how cooperation between the university and the private sector must work.
Mektory is a success story that is an example to the world.
